Clad in just a fresh green lettuce, the new muse of TISSU PREMIER COLLECTIONS, the Lille-based fair for European fashion retail and own- brand labels, sets the tone.
Buyers will wander through an oversized vegetable garden to harvest the latest collections for Summer 2015 and sate the appetites of fashion addicts constantly in need of new items. On the menu: The latest trends are showcased on the Summer 2015 forum, ‘‘OXYGEN”. A breath of fresh air illustrating a series of harmonies and four inspirational themes – EASY BREATHING, OPEN FIELD, GRAPHIC INSPIRATION, JUNGLE EFFERVESCENCE – mixing fabrics, supplies, collections and private label accessories for menswear, womenswear and children’s wear, with a special focus this edition. Without forgetting as an appetizer, the film of the latest inspirations for Winter 2015/2016, produced by PREMIÈRE VISION, as well as conferences on future fashion and consumption trends.
In keeping with the gardening theme, the show hostesses will be wearing aprons created by the local designer Clivia Nobili, known for her interpretations of workwear. The 180 manufacturers attending this edition cultivate the right ingredients at the right price and the right moment. Boasting large industrial structures in France, northern Europe and the Euromed region, they offer quality products that are bang on trend at attractive prices. A simple but fiendishly effective recipe to satisfy almost simultaneously the needs of a market that is ultra-reactive to micro-trends and fluctuating temperatures.
The new stands with their simple clean lines echo the key theme of the Summer 2015 season – “Oxygen”. Draped in white cotton, scattered with designer lighting, they are brighter, more modern and more elegant. In addition to these new showcases, Tissue Première Collections will be designed as a one-stop-shop for solutions, thus fully playing its role as a bridge between fabrics and textile accessories and ready-to wear and fashion accessory collections.
